The Publishing Process – Demystifying the publishing process by walking you through the transformation from unpublished manuscript to published book
Atlantic Publishers Marketing Association and Atlantic Books Today are hosting the Blue Pencil Café at Word on the Street Halifax 2019! WOTS Halifax will take place on Saturday, September 14th at the Halifax Central Library.
At the Blue Pencil Café, aspiring authors will be able to receive targeted feedback from a professional editor. Each registrant will have 15 minutes to discuss their work with the editor and we’ll make every effort to match the author with an editor who works in that genre.
This year’s Blue Pencil Cafe will take place from 1-3 pm in the Halifax Central Library.
Your editor will read your submission to become familiar with it before you meet. Send your submission to Chantelle at admin@atlanticpublishers.ca. Please include the following:
The deadline to submit is August 30, 2019. There are limited spots, so make sure to submit on time! Those selected will be contacted by September 9th with the time and details for their 15 minute session.
