Black Atlantic Canadian Voices
VOICES focuses on Atlantic Canadian authors, their homegrown expertise and lived experiences. We particularly want to highlight and amplify traditionally underrepresented voices from our region. This collection showcases the work of Black authors and publishers, who are telling their stories with pride in their communities and speaking truths that need to be heard. For the original launch of this collection we partnered with the Delmore Buddy Day Learning Institute, which is governed by Black professionals for Black learners, to present these authors and their words to you. You can watch author interviews hosted by Sylvia Parris-Drummond here.
