An Evening with Carol Off & Linden MacIntyre (CTWF fundraiser)

This wonderful literary evening is held in support of the Cabot Trail Writers Festival. Veteran journalists Carol Off (long-time host of CBC Radio’s As It Happens) and Linden MacIntyre (Giller Prize-winning author of The Bishop’s Man and former host of CBC Television’s The Fifth Estate) will share readings from their books and then interview each other!

The event will also include a lively performance by two Cape Breton musical legends: fiddler Cameron Chisholm and guitarist Scott Macmillan.

At the event, the audience will also have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction and bid on a book chosen by Kate Beaton, Lesley Crewe, Carol Off or Linden MacIntyre as their “favourite book” and inscribed with a handwritten, signed note by that author, describing why the book has meant so much to them.

Carol and Linden’s own books will be available for purchase and signing, light refreshments will be served, and a cash bar will be open.
