In this workshop, Elaine McCluskey tells you why you should write short stories, and how to make them special. Author Elaine McCluskey (???????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????????? ????????????????, Goose Lane Editions, 2022) will discuss topics such as character, dialogue, and setting. Participants will be encouraged to share their ideas, and Elaine McCluskey will provide writing exercises. The objective is for writers to leave the workshop feeling excited about their writing and more confident about tackling short stories. Elaine McCluskey will give tips on how to avoid common traps. Writers of any level are welcome. Please bring pens, paper, and, if you have them, a laptop or a tablet.
