Come celebrate Kathleen Foster-Alfred’s writing debut!

Kay, although struggling with some current health & mobility issues, is so excited to talk with people about the experience of writing her first book, a non-fiction telling of just some of the many experiences she had as a Foster Parent; some expected, some not so much.

She hopes to meet and discuss her experiences with all… whether they’ve experienced the system or not, or perhaps those thinking about becoming a Foster Parent themselves. If nothing else, just come for a friendly hello.

Copies of her book will be available for purchase, refreshments will be served, and she hopes some great conversations will be started.

‘We Have A Child For You, Fostering in Rural Nova Scotia’ is being released June 15, 2023, and is available for pre-order now through Moose House Publishing.
