Melissa Samms lives, works, and plays in their home territory, the north shore of the Katalisk in southwestern Ktaqmkuk, whose settler name is Codroy Valley. They’ve been writing since they first learned to put words on paper, but have only recently mustered up the gumption to actually share their creativity with others. Most days, you can find Liss reading, foraging, ranting about politics and history, and drinking their body weight in tea. Rant with them on Twitter at @MelissaSammsNL!
