About the Host
Thespian and multi-faceted artist, Philip André Collette has more than 30 years of experience in the performing arts. His path leads him from theatre to dance, cinema to opera, all the while flirting with poetry and the visual arts world. Actor, improviser, stage manager, artistic director and creative consultant, Philip André explores art through various roles. He is regularly invited to teach at the Drama Department, as well as the Education Faculty of the Université de Moncton. Combining his passion for communication and his love of nature, he works as an interpreter at Parks Canada, all the while being a recurring emcee of numerous events, such as the FICFA, the Atlantic Dance Festival and the Frye Festival. He served as the Kent County Dialogue NB Communities leader and has been chair of the Société culturelle Kent-Sud for six years. Proud member of the rural LGBTQ2S community, Philip André resides in Saint-Antoine with his partner in Kent County.
