About the Book:
Willie and Social Media Saved Me! (You may suggest it was love and courage) This is not a story about a well-known country singer with braids and a signature red bandana. My Willie is dark, handsome, and tall, when standing on his hind legs.
The minimal energy I had was depleted quickly each day. To my surprise, it turned out that a puppy was just what I needed to take my mind off of myself, to pull me out of bed and into the woods each day. I have made a terrific walking trail for Willie and me.
My family and I were worried about the future after a rare diagnosis, and I needed to be a self-advocate on my health journey, reaching out for advice across the globe. I hope my story encourages you to push past a moment in your life that is holding you back.
About the Author: Author Cheryl Young lives in rural Nova Scotia and loves staying active in nature’s beautiful changing seasons. She enjoys learning and sharing wellness tips with whoever will listen. She starts each day with a walk in the woods. Cheryl wrote “Clearing a Path Through Adversity” after her oldest son encouraged her to share her journey. Her husband and two sons support her “brain waves”, cheer her on and provide help when needed.
