About the Book:
“At 40 years of age I lost it all – my job, my mind and, yes, my virginity. It was an awesome year of discovering myself, letting go and shifting. After my fortieth birthday and the first few months of losing myself, I started gaining it all back.
A career, my purpose, an obsession with going to a gym and, of course, lots of weight.
I was having the time of my life gaining and finding what I never thought I was missing in the first place. …”
“I loved this novel, and am excited to go back and read the first one now as well! I loved Annabelle and all the characters. Right from the first chapter, the characters are just so likable and the story so enjoyable. Completely recommend! ” ~Angela Samson
About the Author: Losing it long before she turned 40 (which was recent), Sarah Butland has faith she will be gaining a lot before she turns 41. Calling the North Shore of Nova Scotia home, Sarah is enjoying connecting, re-connecting and letting go of whatever holds her down. You may have seen her in Ah! At Home on the North Shore celebrating other local authors or taking photo’s of her son’s baseball team, or at Read by the Sea Literary Festival. Wherever you find her, be assured she has a local book by a fellow Canadian author on hand.
