
Rhian Calcott
Rhian Calcott was born in Charlottetown, PEI and moved with her family to Berwick, Nova Scotia when she was seven. She has a degree in English literature from Mount Allison University and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Dalhousie University. She is married to Ken Thomas and has lived in Bridgewater for the past forty years. She practiced law at Nova Scotia Legal Aid for ten years before leaving to stay at home and raise their four children. Her short stories have appeared in The Vagrant Revue of New Fiction (2007) and A Maritime Christmas (2008). The Last Goin’ Off is her first novel.
