Mike Heffernan
Mike Heffernan was born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland. He is the bestselling author of Rig: An Oral History of the Ocean Ranger Disaster and The Other Side of Midnight: Taxicab Stores. He is currently working on Scumtribe: Ten Years that Changed Newfoundland Music, 1985-95.
