Vicki Reddin-Gauthier
Vicki, much like Jo from "Little Women," had a childhood filled with imagination and storytelling. As a young adult, she too experienced many adventures in travel and romance before settling into marriage, parenthood, and running a small business. In her shop on Prince Edward Island, she entertained customers with stories of Island life. During her husband's illness, she found comfort in writing her first novel, "Emily's Letters", which she published in 2017.
Still, her imaginative life could not have prepared her for the harrowing circumstances of her husband's and, soon after, their daughter's cancer diagnoses, treatments and losses. Vicki found her way out of grief by continuing to follow the heartbeat of the stories around her and by writing The Luckiest Ones in hopes that she might help others.
