Valerie Parizeault is a French-Canadian illustrator who creates fabulous worlds for young readers. With twenty years? experience in the visual and graphic arts, she brings a unique blend of painterly textures and playful storytelling to the books she creates. Born in a suburb of Montreal, she now lives and works in the coastal town of Shediac, New Brunswick, where she can be found sketching, having a coffee nearby, or walking with Java, her black Labrador retriever and muse.
