Tracy Barron
Tracy Barron is an author, communications professional and former journalist. When her childhood church in her hometown of Rawdon Gold Mines, Hants Co., N.S. closed in 2007, she moved it a short distance to family land and made it into her house. The journey inspired two children's books: The Adventures of Spencer the Church Mouse and Spencer Goes Sailing, published by Boulder Books. Tracy was a civil servant for 22 years in provincial government communications in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador. An avid hiker and amateur historian, she spends her time between her church house in Rawdon Gold Mines and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
