Ronald Stewart
Ronald Stewart was a pioneer in the development of modern emergency medicine. An internationally renowned expert in prehospital care and paramedic training, Stewart served as a senior medical consultant to governments and NGOs in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. A Companion of the Order of Canada, Dr. Stewart published more than two hundred articles on the art and science of medicine. He also founded the Music in Medicine Program at his alma mater, the Dalhousie University Medical School. Dr. Stewart died on October 24, 2024.
