Naomi Mitcham studied in Atlantic Canada, Québec, and Scotland, and now lives in British Columbia, where she teaches children with special needs. She has also been a historic and cultural researcher for several years, as well as an editor and artist for the Tlingit Tribe Council. She has illustrated many books, and her watercolour paintings are featured in collections across Canada, France, and Germany.
