Lori Weber is the author of eleven books for young readers, including the award-winning YA historical novel, The Ribbon Leaf. A native Montrealer, she taught English at John Abbott College in Quebec for twenty-seven years before retiring in 2020. In 2022 she settled in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
