World Read Aloud Day with an Atlantic Canadian Twist

World Read Aloud Day is an international advocacy day, founded by LitWorld, to promote and encourage children to read stories aloud.

Since we cannot gather together, we are planning to move our celebrating online, onto our social media pages, with an Atlantic Canadian twist.

Between now and February 2nd we are asking our authors/ publishers/ and friends to record themselves reading a selection from one of their favourite Atlantic Canadian authored picture or chapter books.

Once you are finished you can either post them on your page, making the post public and tagging the store and/ or you can share it to the store’s page or you message us the link. Then on February 2nd, between 10am to 8pm, we will share them on our Facebook and Twitter pages. Please remember to use the hashtag #WorldReadAloudDay and to have some fun with your videos.
Please keep your videos to less than 5 minutes.
