John Boileau
John Boileau is the bestselling author of a dozen books of historical non-fiction. He has literally written hundreds of magazine and newspaper articles, book reviews and opinion pieces. Some of his books are about the "Titanic", the Halifax Explosion, recipients of the Victoria Cross, and a co-authored two-volume set about underage Canadian boys who joined the military during the First and Second World Wars.Mr. Boileau served in the Canadian Army for 37 years, retiring as a colonel in 1999. He is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick and is currently Honourary Colonel of The Halifax Rifles.
