William Kowalski’s Epic Game is Quick and Fun

William Kowalski’s Epic Game is a fast-paced story for readers 16 and up.
One can easily read this book in a single sitting and be thoroughly entertained. Kowlalski keeps the writing simple, as Orca Books’ Rapid Reads series requires. The action and the dialogue carry the tale, easily and well.
Driving the narrative — and telling the story in the first-person — is Kat, a young woman who makes her living as a professional poker player. Kat thinks she has the world all figured out until a young boy unexpectedly enters her life. Caring for him and meeting his father complicates Kat’s life in ways she never imagined.
Meanwhile, she has everything riding in a Las Vegas poker showdown for high stakes. The reader is along for the ride to find out how it all plays out.
Epic Game is a quick and fun read.
