Alma Fullerton is a children's author, freelance writer, illustrator and public speaker at schools. Her new children's book, No More Plastic, comes out May 18 2021 and follows a child's journey to save the ocean. She has won several awards and nominations for her work including the Ruth and Syliva Schwartz Award, the CLA Book of the Year Honour. A Good Trade was a White Raven's Choice, a Bank Street Best Book, and a nominee for the OLA Blue Spruce Award and Kentucky Bluegrass Awards. She won the Rainforest of Reading Award for In a Cloud of Dust, was nominated for the OLA Blue Spruce Award, and also was a Foreword Magazine Best Children's Books of Fall 2015 selection.
