SUMMARY:"Losing It at 40!"\, author reading with Sarah Butland

Turning forty tends to mean more challenges physically\, in the bedroom and beyond. Losing It At Forty is Anne’s story and while she has\, so far\, lived a mundane life her world is about to change. Sitting at a bar\, Annabelle comes to the decision to loosen up and lose her virginity. Starting with no longer using her nickname and wanting to be referred to as her full name\, Annabelle. \nAnnabelle knows she doesn’t need a man but her desire for one is turned up after having a few drink and men flirting with her. \nWhat she knew she wanted was sex and even at forty years old she worried about pregnancy so took time off work to check with a doctor about the pill. He thought it was redundant but prescribed it anyway. \nWith many humorous incidents\, including a time at an esthetician’s parlor and almost being arrested\, to buying cream and being caught looking at condoms as well as the dreaded videochat while getting undressed\, Annabelle is enjoying life despite the comedic moments her romantic endeavors provide. \nAbout the Author: \nSarah Butland is a freelance author\, and editor living in Pictou County\, Nova Scotia. She has published numerous books\, fiction and non-fiction (for all ages!) – Sending You Sammy; Brain Tales Volume One; Arm Farm; Being Grateful\, Being Thoughtful; Where Pines and Maples Grow; Through the Eyes of a Teenager; Blood Day the Novella; Cherish Your Treasures\, and Life Imitated.
DESCRIPTION:????’???????????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????????? ????’???????????????????????????????????????????? ????????????????????́???????????????????????????????????????????????? ????’????́???????????????????????????? ????????́????????????????????????????????́???? ???????????????? ????????????́???????????? ???????????????????????????????? \nhttps://www.facebook.com/events/949437225943660/

SUMMARY:Battle Tales VII: Battle...With A Vengeance
DESCRIPTION:Are you ready? \nWe can’t hear you! \nWe SAID – Are… You… READY!!? \nYes\, it’s that time of year again\, folks! \nAll ye Battlers\, gather your skill\, sharpen your wit and bring your “A” (and E\, I\, O\, U and sometimes Y) game\, because the seventh annual Battle Tales has arrived! \nYour THREE prompts for Battle Tales VII: Battle…With A Vengeance ARE: \n1. The gnashing of teeth2. A gleaming blade3. A dark tower looming in the distance \nOur second pandemic winter is almost over\, and with it comes the (hopefully) last stand of a desperate virus cornered by the miracle of modern science and the resilience of humanity in the face of great odds. By summer beach season\, many will be vaxxed\, waxed and ready to relax\, but before we see sunnier and better days\, the bitter chill of winter must be warmed by the heat of glorious battle… \nIn the span of 2\,500 words or fewer\, we humbly ask for your best and brightest short fiction to entertain and enlighten. Wow our illustrious judge with adventurous tales of derring-do\, or scandalous stories of murder most fowl – maybe the chicken did it! Now he’s gonna FRY! \nWhatever creative choices you choose to employ\, your story MUST incorporate all three prompts listed above. Beyond that? The breadth of your fictional world is yours to explore and conquer\, limited only by your imagination! \nUse the prompts as your opening lines\, or as the seeds of a greater mystery afoot\, or as pivotal plot points – creatively or passively\, the choice is yours and yours alone! \nAnd now\, dear Battlers\, the stage is set\, the stakes have been raised\, and the clarion call has been sent out to one and all. But before Battle commences\, heed the rules so a fair fight may ensue: \n– No names on entries (judging is blind!) – You MUST be a resident of Prince Edward Island to enter– Stories must be 2\,500 words or less– Anything received by 11:59 pm on Saturday\, February 26th will be accepted \nAnd that’s it! So without further ado… \nLET THE BATTLE BEGIN!! \n*To submit your story\, click on the following link\, or visit www.peiwritersguild.com for more details* \nSUBMIT: https://peiwritersguild.submittable.com/submit \nhttps://www.facebook.com/events/267636955510886/

Dynamiques du polar « made in Africa » (Honoré Champion\, 2015). \nhttps://www.facebook.com/events/668084974344582/
