DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wanted to write up a meaningful story from your own life or someone else’s? \nHave you ever wondered how to publish an article that brings readers up to speed on a subject you’re passionate about or convinces them to agree with your opinion on a hot-button topic? \nIn this FREE six-week course\, you’ll learn the basics of four types of non-fiction writing – personal narrative\, opinion\, expository\, and interview – and how to get that writing published. \nParticipants will come out of the course with the skills they need to write for Artforce’s next anthology\, On the Edge: Being Young in a Precarious Province. \nInstructor Ainsley Hawthorn\, PhD\, is an author and cultural historian based in St. John’s.
